I-80 from Ridge Road to River Road — Phase III Construction Inspection & Management

Project Overview

Description

This Phase III project provides construction inspection services for a critical infrastructure improvement along Interstate 80 from east of Ridge Road to east of River Road, through the Villages of Minooka and Shorewood and Troy Township in Will County. The work reconstructs 14,627 feet (2.77 miles) of I-80 with new continuously reinforced Portland Cement Concrete pavement and shoulders, adds new concrete median barrier walls, and replaces three culvert structures — all delivered under continuous traffic with comprehensive grading, drainage, and erosion control.

• ›On-site inspection, construction layout (including design revisions), geotechnical inspections, and materials testing
• ›Removal and replacement of culvert structures SN 099-8342, SN 099-8343, and SN 099-8344
• ›Project records, pay estimates, and change orders maintained in IDOT's Construction & Materials Management System (CMMS)
• ›Maintenance of traffic oversight with continuous traffic flow during construction
• ›Pavement markings, updated signage, and landscaping to restore the corridor
• ›Compliance with State specifications and departmental policies, with emphasis on schedule, budget, and quality
